NTFS mount on FC3

fs ntfs is not supported by kernel
what is that supposed to mean ?

That you have to install a kernel mod to support ntfs. Remember, Fedora intentionally excludes any "encumbered" (by patent or restrictive copyright) applications.

You can download the read-only drivers from the livna repository. Look for kmod-ntfs-`uname -r`.

Check this page.

I think it has all what you might need. NTFS is not supported by Fedora Core. But there are modules available in rpm format which makes it possible to read ntfs volumes.
