ntfs hard drive mounted. but doesnt show all files , tar files


hello.

i installed ntfs-3g.
i've a usb hard drive mounted (ntfs) /media/windows

when i go to /media/windows it shows all files but not the files i need, not shows .tar archives.
just a few files

and when i enter df -h , it's true, the used disk space is true. but not showing all files

How are you trying to view the files? Using the terminal, or in a graphical file manager?

What happens if you try going to the terminal and entering:

ls -a /media/windows
