Nt_status_access_denied

Hi,

I need to make periodic backup's from a Suse 9.3 linux machine to a 2003 server running AD,DNS etc. I have spoken to a few people and I was advised that the best route to go is to create a share on the Windows machine and then map it to the Linux machine.

I have created the share and given everyone full permissions on this share.

However, even trying to view the shares on the windows sever brings up the error NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED. (Command used: smbclient -U username -L serveriporname) I get a positive response and it reports the server versiona nd domain name, but when I enter the password the error comes up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The security log on the NT side should have more information.

No funny messages in the security log. It states that there has been a successfull login from the linux machine.
