decenter Member Registered: Sep 2011 Distribution: Fedora release 21 (Twenty One) Posts: 156 Rep:	nslcd[1822]: [c6a529] no available LDAP server found Hi, I'm trying to connect to LDAP server. I have followed the documents properly and even I was able to connect to LDAP server via SSH from client machine and even I can search the LDAP server database from the client. But when I try to login in the Desktop login prompt using LDAP, it doesn't connect and says authentication failure. Here is the syslog message I get: Code: nslcd[1822]: [c6a529] no available LDAP server found What will be the issue? Edit: My LDAP server specs: OS: Cent OS 5.5 arch : x86_64 My Client: OS: Cent OS 6.3 arch: x86 Last edited by decenter; 12-04-2012 at 08:11 AM. Reason: forgot to mention system specs
