nscd streamlining
I was looking for ways to reduce the RAM utilisation of a Opensuse system. In system guard I see that the most RAM is taken by Xorg and nscd, about 150 MB each.
While Xorg seems pardonable, nscd seems too lavish.
Is there any way to streamline the name server cache daemon?

Edit: Seems I was looking at the wrong column in sysguard. The figures are the virtual memory used, physical memory used is much better <20 MB.
Please ignore this query.
