ns2/ nam

Hi everyone;
I have ns version 2.35 and nam version 1.15.
I have a problem when I used nam in ns2.35. In fact, when I wrote ns on terminal it show me "%" that means it is installed but when I try to execute nam, I have as a result

segmentation fault (core dumped).
I tried this solution but it doesn't work for me.
copy the 'nam' file from your '/home/[username]/ns-allinone-2.35/nam-1.15' folder and paste it into '/usr/local/bin' folder

/usr/bin/(nam) comes before /usr/local/bin/ in $PATH !
Therefore the 'nam' command will use any faulty nam you have in /usr/bin/.

? Are you still using Fedora ?
The only known 'nam' with "Segmentation fault" is from the useless Ubuntu packages.

If ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz , the 'Nov 2014 update' ...

... you can do # cd nam-1.15/ && (sudo) make install

Else : Use a package for your OS :
