I installed ns2 under windows using cygwin. In this I run my tcl file. It executed correctly. while running nam out.nam it shows the following error
ACER@ACER-PC /home/sample
$ nam: no display name and no $DISPLAY environment variable

How i can execute nam animations under cygwin.
I have set the path in .bashrc file.

$ echo $PATH

I don't think you can get the nam-1.15 to work with Windows / Cygwin.
If you want nam : Find an old nam.exe on the internet,
.. and copy "nam.exe" to /usr/local/bin/


There is generally no help to get with { Cygwin + ns2 }.
? Why not install a Linux OS into a virtual machine in Windows ? (VirtualBox).
