Hey, I have a Athlon XP 1.8 and I tried install some Linux distros and works fine, but in the Celeron 600 MHZ with 128 RAM and 2 GB of HD, I tried to install a lot of Linux distros and None of them works me, always in the beginning or in the final of the installation appears me errors, I tried with:

RedHat 8.0 (This one, works but bad)
Vector Linux
Damn Small Linux
Knoppix
Grey Cat Linux

and I want to try with Slackware 9.0 but when I mount the CD into the CDROM and I reset my PC, nothing happens, like doesnt recognizes the boot section.

Which version of LINUX do you recommend me that doesnt crash with my Hardware?
