yup . I'm not sure though, if you need to install also gtk2-devel. Well, try with gtk+-devel first, if fails when you ./configure, then install gtk2-devel too.
Sorry it did not work . Weird though. I don't remember having to download anything to get it to work . But it's also known that RedHat always ship buggy stuff . gcc in RedHat 9.0 is an example . Did you try to install those packages with apt-get/synaptic too?
If you are still reading this thread and still interested in installing bbconf, I've finally found the package which was bugging us here . It's not gtk we need, it's :
qt-3.1.2
I've used a slackware package in a slackware box (Compaq Armada with Intel 166 and 32 RAM, and Slackware 9.0 is still fast in this machine, I LOVE SLACK, lol), the full name of this package qt-3.1.3-i386-2.tgz. There might be a package in your Redhat CD's which looks like that. If it works, please post here in the case someone uses the search button .
