Notebook shut downs when viewing videos

I'm using Kubuntu, I have a Dell lappy with a nvidia 6800 ultra go

When I try to view multiples videos or maximize one in the web, soon or later kubuntu shuts down by itself.

I don't know if its overheating or what the problem could be, but it just a regular shut down, with the kubuntu logo unloading and everything.

What can I do to avoid this?

Thanks in advance

My guess would be you have some setting for powersaving that is telling the system to shutdown when you've been idle (I'm pretty sure if you're just watching a video it would register as idle). Look at the settings in the Control Center to see what it looks like there.

No, its not when I'm idle, it doesn't get on stand by either. It just shut down, like when you go and shut it by yourself.

I think theres some problem with my notebook fans and linux, I'm getting worried now. Its almost random when viewing a youtube video, but in most of the cases, it happen when I have more than 2 videos open or I'm viewing one in full screen mode, seems like it shut downs just when I start pushing the video card.
