Not enough free space while installing program with wine

Hi,

I have installed wine and had no problems. I want to install Aliens versus Predator 2 using wine. I have installed the dcom98 and I get the AVP2 setup screen and install shield thing and it works, up untill it asks me where I want the game installed. I pick where to install it and then it tells me I do not have enough free space. I have 55 Gigs of free space and only need 1.3 Gigs to install the game. So if someone could help me figure out how to let it know that I do have enough space to install it I would appreciate it.

Thanks

wine

hi guys

I know this answer is coming late, but now 8 years after the initial post, I experience the same problem. I checked on google and found these two links that might be helpful to most of the users:

http://tamastarjanyi.blogspot.com/20...ted-under.html - this is answer to disk space issue

and the next one is for problems with the Wine drives that could emerge:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1045166

Ultimately I managed to install the desired application (PokerStars), however I have problems with initializing - I receive error message: "Client Program has failed to initialize: Please contact the support team". I am now in communication with them and I hope the last error is not caused by Wine or the Ubuntu OS. I'm still waiting for their findings and will post new info, once it is available.
