not able to see the data of pendrive in linux version 9
i have installed red hat linux version 9 for NS2 project ,
using with the help of VMWARE.I am able to see the pendrive enable in the VMWARE-REMOVABLE DEVICE. But when i am going to mount the pendrive it is not showing the data of the pendrive,it is showing some another files. please tell the solution |
You are either:
A) Not mounting the correct device B) Seeing the correct files but believe they should be different. Linux, VMWare etc.. are not going to magically create files. It is doing exactly what you are telling it to do, so you must be mounting the wrong drive. Do an fdisk -l within the VM to see what it is seeing and verify you are mounting the correct device. |
