Angry Not able to install Ubuntu 16.04 on Toshiba Satellite S55T-A

I am trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 (64 bit) on my laptop Toshiba Satellite S55T-A since last week. Configuration of the laptop is lot more than needed and I am using USB as installation media. I boot from the USB drive every thing goes well at the end it gives message to restart. When I restart the laptop it can not find the boot media. But if I keep using laptop without restarting(unplug USB) it work perfectly. I try it several time, even Ubuntu 14.04 but same issue.
Please note this laptop came with pre-installed Windows 8 (64 bit) and I delete the hard drive with recovery disk, so hard drive is clean. I did download Ubuntu 3 time and used 3 different USB drives.

Maybe the hard drive is not set as a boot device in the bios setup. Perhaps the drive is using gpt partitioning but grub is trying to boot with mbr.

Sukhvir,

Toshiba can only detect a USB Boot with UEFI format.

http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-...b-install.html

(Ubuntu) Make a UEFI Boot USB drive using Rufus:
https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desk...ick-on-windows

Change the partition scheme and target system type to:

GPT partition scheme only for UEFI.

If you use a spare Windows machine to create the USB drive, then:

Make a UEFI Boot USB drive using Rufus:
https://rufus.akeo.ie/downloads/rufus-2.4.exe

NO, This does not work, this issue is not boot from usb, issue is when I install Ubuntu and restart than laptop does not find the OS. If i boot from usb that is fine
