not able to disable "show window content while dragging"

Hi all,

I am developing an application in which my window has to be dragged.
I want to disable the "show window content while dragging" option on linux.
Means I don't want to display the window contents (obviously for speed) while that particular window is dragged.

The solution should be generic and must work for all opened window. (i.e i don't want to write a program which will hide the content of the output window (of program) only)

Is there any setting that need to be changed or some configuration needs to be modified.

can anyone suggest, How to do this.

I am using Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4.0 “Update 3”.I don't know which display manager is being used.If it is related to the display manager then how to know that which display manager is active.

Best Regards and thanks in advance.

In Kde, I would go to Control Center - Desktop - Window Behaviour and de-select "display window content while dragging".

Gnome may provide something similar.
