No video fullscreen in Pinguy 11.04

I had this problem in a regular version of Ubuntu a while back and can't remember how to fix it. When I view any video with any video app like VLC player or Movie Player in Full Screen, I hear audio but no video. I remember having to disable Compiz in order for it to work properly. I need Compiz in Pinguy 11.04 so what could I do to make sure I can watch videos in Full Screen Mode?
