no sound with emovix

Burnt a cd with emovix, it boots fine and seems to function as expected except for no sound.
It looks like the sound card was detected. The iso was created with mkmovixiso -o make/iso/here /find/file/here. The file was divx. The iso was burnt with k3b.
I was able to access the alsa mixer while using the cd but had no idea what adjustments to make.
Did I miss an option creating the iso? Any other ideas?

This problem seems to be related to my Via sound card. Adding "amixer -c $card set Headphone 90% unmute" to the profile file in the emovix directory fixed the problem. This might relate to anyone who has been using the alsa headphone control as the master volume control.
