no sound in HTML 5 - Firefox & Chrome

Hi all

There seems to be an issue for sound not to work when switching to html 5 for youtube videos. Im not to sure what exactly is causing the problem, maybe it is ALSA audio API? Has anyone found a fix for this problem?

UMM. Can you let us know a bit more about what you're doing? I've not heard of html5 affecting sound? Were these flash or something at some point?

Yeah when i switch over to the the html 5 version of youtube, for some reason i dont hear any sound from the videos. Banshee music works fine, so it must be some codec problem with the browser or somthing like that. Its the same across firefox and chrome!
