No Sound From J Rivers Medica Center 19 on LMDE

After 13 years, I finally upgraded to an HP Envy 700 - 216 computer and have managed to set up a dual boot with Windows 8.1 and J Rivers in development Linux Media Center 19
The sound works great on Banshee, but I cannot get MC19 to put sound through my sound card on Linux. The MC19 indicates it to be playing, but no sound. Suggestions. Youtube, and Banshee play just fine on LMDE.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. And I have and am posting this on the HP, J Rivers, and Linux Mint Debian Edition forums also.

Run this to find out what sound card you have-
