No sound button in dictionary page

The PC is running Fedora Linux with Firefox 2.0.0.4.

In WinXP environment, Firefox does have a sound button in dictionary below

http://encarta.msn.com/dictionary_/Apple.html.

However, in Linux environment, Firefox doesn't show such button.

What can I do ??
Thank you !

Don't know how you do it in FC ... but I know searching this site and Google has answers to [almost] everything.

Here is just one of them.

Yes, but it's the old version (7.0). Not sure if this is the problem, but the version I'm using is 9.0.

Thank you ! I tried to install version 9 and was told it was already installed. However, when I type about: plugins in firefox, I was told only version 7 was installed.

I suspect I got two versions of firefox installed, and the flash 9.0 is instaalled in the old version firefox.

The problem is : How can I know where my current 2.0.0.4 firefox is located(but not the old version firefox) and how can I install flash player 9.0 to my firefox 2.0.0.4 ?

Thank you !

First step would be uninstalling v7. Did you install FF 2 as user? If yes then you need to dig in your home directory to find out where your Firefox looks for plugins (see ~/.mozilla/firefox/pluginreg.dat). Sorry, cannot give you detailed help. Never tried FC, and I always install things in system locations. My Flash resides in /opt/netscape/plugins but I hardly believe knowing this helps you, every distro seems to place flash differently.
