No Screens Found, please help!!!!
Good Morning;
I recently downloaded the YDL iso file and burned it to a cd. After this I booted with the cd, and typed "install-gui" I choose the Install Everything option. This installed wonderfully. My computer was again restarted and this time it asked me to press "l" or "m" I choose "l" then once in that I wa prompted with the "login" I logged in successfully. Then I typed "startx" After a few screens resizes and some text scrolling on the screen it said "No Screens found" I then set my settings to "video=atyfb" then "video=atyfb video=ofonly" This did nothing. It still said No screens found. Muhammad Khan |
You probably need to run the XFree86 configuration utility and enter the correct specs for your video card and monitor. Since YD is a Redhat-based distro, the command is probably "Xconfigurator" (case-sensitive, no quotes). If not, try XF86Setup.
