No module raid1 found for kernel 2.6.4?

Hi. I have a RH9 server and am trying to compile Linux 2.6.4 from kernel.org. I'm getting an error:
No module raid1 found for kernel 2.6.4

FWIW, these are my .config settings:

#
# Multi-device support (RAID and LVM)
#
CONFIG_MD=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_MD=m
CONFIG_MD_LINEAR=m
CONFIG_MD_RAID0=m
CONFIG_MD_RAID1=m
CONFIG_MD_RAID5=m
# CONFIG_MD_RAID6 is not set
CONFIG_MD_MULTIPATH=m
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_DM=y
# CONFIG_DM_CRYPT is not set

I'm currently running with a software raid1 /, and /boot.

Any ideas?

I think this is possibly a buggy mkinitrd script problem.

I built raid1 as a non-module. (Ditto ext3). And ran /sbin/mkinitrd -f /boot/initrd-2.6.4.img 2.6.4 --omit-raid-modules.

Now I am happily running 2.6.4
