No Internet!
 

I bought an HP Laptop, which has only free-dos on it.
I installed my Suse 10.1 withoiut any problem, but unlike other computers, this time the internet connection does not work.
There is a warning on the screen, which says: Network Manager is activated, Some funktions, like several suppliers for a modem, will not work.
Use kinternet instead.

HP wrote that there are drivers missing, which will have to be downloaded, however, this is not so easy, as there is no internet coinnection.....


Any suggestions???

Do you have a ethernet card and dsl modem connect to the ethernet card
If so yast 2 network devices and configure you,re ethernet Ip address dynamic PPp over ethernet
Works for most ethernet card and here in my country you have to configure the modem to
