No Dropbox Icon

I just installed Dropbox using urpmi command and it seems to install okay but when I run dropbox, I never see it listed in Nautilus file browser. I do have Openbox with the Tint2 panel installed and no icon there either. Dropbox never did ask me about my DB account information. This is the 64bit version.

Any idea what's going on with it?

Thnx.

I'm not sure about Mandriva, but when I've installed the Dropbox app in Slack or Arch, I've had to run it to start the set up. Installing the app itself does nothing more than just that... it installs the app. You need to initiate it to set things up. Try from the command line:

Code:

$ dropbox
and see what happens.

Check this out, too --> http://gamblis.com/2010/03/10/how-to...mandriva-2010/

Luck!

The command dropbox start -i does start the initial install and after that, nothing else seems to happen.

Quote:

[fredg@sappy ~]$ dropbox status
Dropbox isn't responding!
[fredg@sappy ~]$ dropbox start -i
Dropbox isn't running!
Dropbox is already running!
[fredg@sappy ~]$
I'm not sure what's going on. I'll keep working on a fix.

Thnx.
