No bold fonts on firefox 1.5.0.1

I can't see bold fonts in firefox for some fonts.
I installed fonts from windows such as "Tahoma" and "courier new" and "Arial" and they don't seem to have a "bold" option when I want to choose them!

any help would be appreciated!

I'm using slackware 10

You forgot the bold (and maybe other) versions of the files;

arialbd.ttf arialbi.ttf ariali.ttf arial.ttf
courbd.ttf courbi.ttf couri.ttf cour.ttf
tahomabd.ttf tahoma.ttf
