I just couldn't get blueman working and couldn't get any advise on it

so I installed gnome-bluetooth. Unfortunately it doesn't create a tray icon. I can run bluetooth-wizard from the command line but I couldn't make a dun connection. Making a dun connection, and sharing files to my feature phone is the goal.
A few years ago I had no problem with these things. Same computer. Same phone. Bluetooth support in the present Linux is becoming a real problem.
