no / at the end of address gives error
ive got apache 2 with php and mysql runnign on my gentoo server. most everything is ok but if i type the address to a directory for instance servername.com/directory withoutt a / on the end it gives an error. it does not do this locally just for people trying to access it from the outside. i fyoud like to see visit http://leftshoe.kicks-ass.org/newncpunk and then go to http://leftshoe.kicks-ass.org/newncpunk/ thanks in advance for any help

I'll give you a hint, you need to use Canonical names in your httpd.conf setup. A google search will lead you directly to it most likely or just check out the docs at http://httpd.apache.org ;)

ok i messed around with it and i still cant get it to work. if i want /home/ftp/server/server/newncpunk to work like /hom/ftp/server/server/newncpunk/ how would i set up the alias.
