nmap question
 
I have nmap in my home directory but some options require root privaleges, but when i su to root i get command not found.

how do i fix this ?

You are getting that error because nmap is not in your PATH. I would recommend installing nmap to a standard location such as the /usr/local tree.

Thankyou i will try that. Will root recognize the command then ?

I find the PATH issues a little confusing i dont fully understand how they work :)
more reading i suppose.
