NFS timeout on remove, but works locally.

I have just setup my first NFS server, with /etc/export allowing my ip, and I have mounted the NFS partition locally without any problem, but the connection times out when I try to mount the partition from my ip. I have tried taking down all firewalls and that is not changing anything. Is there anything I can look for that might be causing this?

Try checking for errors on syslog, and maybe you can dump packets sent and received by client to see what's happening (wireshark/tshark)
