Nforce drivers will they work with FEDORA?


the drivers show they are for 2.4.20.9 kernel...will it work with 2.4.22 fedora kernel? (Im a linux newb)...

should do. I guess no-one here has tried it yet so why don't you tell us?

they don't. i upgraded to fedora, then installed the 2.4.20-8 kernel so the nvidia drivers would work.

you should tell him where you got your kernel and what type of package it was - just in case.

Did you find documentation stating that is would not work or did you judt try to install it and it did'nt work?

i used the kernel from rh9 installation cds. no documentation, but i thought i saw somewhere that that's the main problem people get with using new kernels.
