Newb question regarding backups

I'm new to Linux but been a long time HPUX and AIX Sys Admin. We have 2 servers running Red Hat AS3 and was wondering if there was a tool or CI command that would act as the equivilant to a makesysb or make_system_recovery which allows you to make a bootable system load image that you can write to CD or magnetic tape. I'm working on a DR stategy and would like to incorporate a recovery method for these servers.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know whether deadrat comes with any
tools for that purpose pre-packaged ...

Have a look at http://www.mondorescue.org/
