New To Mutt-ng

I recently installed Mutt-ng on Ubuntu Hoary 5.04 and I have been working on the muttngrc trying to customize the MUA to be just how I like it. There are a few little tweaks that are still *urking* me. I cannot figure out how to prevent the subject line from running all the way to the end of the page being cut off when I have the side bar open.

Is there a way to have the subject line look nice and neat... short or with "..." when the MUA recognizes that the subject line is to long? This is becoming very annoying. I've been looking around and I have not seen any comments on this throughout the information on the web.
