new software(gnome,wine) not working mk10.1
 

Hi there!

I recently installed mk10.1 on a dell c400 laptop. All works fine exept when I try to install additional softwarepackages like gnome, wine, thunderbird etc; they don't seem to installed on the system, even though thery are! I never get a choice beteween 2 different desktops, I can't start wine or any of the other programs!? Weird thing is when I go to the uninstall panel, all those applications show up in there!?
Can anybody help with this?
