I am running fedora 1 - it runs very good on this homebrew puter but
wont to up grade to fedora 3 . Question is it better to upgrade or re- format ,
F3 - has 4 CDs and i want a full install - In my thinking a re-format would be
the better way to go --- Blessings ------------- mebob
You only really need to reformat when you are going to change the file structure, or change partition lengths. If you're happy with the current file system (Ext3 , Reiserfs, etc.) then do not reformat, but just upgrade.
