new amarok on dapper crashes

Hello everyone. I just upgraded from Breezy kubuntu to Dapper and I must say it is pretty awesome. My media player of choice is amarok and I have never had any problems with it. This newer version, 1.4, seems buggy or something because it is always crashing or freezing on me. It will crash every time that I try to play an mp3 over the network. I had no problems with this on the old version. It will often times freeze for no reason and it's frustrating because I really like the player yet it is hard to use if it always crashes. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Also, I do not have a multi-threading processor or anything so I don't think that is the problem.

Try starting amarok through console to maybe see some error message that might help to find the problem
