Networking Query

We have a Linux Server and a Linux Client.
When the Client boots up,and user logs into the server via Linux Client, the server sends a file to the Linux client and asks the client to execute it. Is it possible to push a file from server to the client and have it executed through a logon script?
Thank You.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
