Networking Mandrake 9.1 and XP????
 

Im just basically trying to network a PC running XP Pro, and 2 other PC's with Mandrake 9.1, using samba.

Do I even need to have samba running, in order to share files between a windows and a linux box??

I have samba running on both linux machines, and I can see all three in my workgroup.

If I try and browse the network, with either linux boxes, I can only get into each LINUX box. The windows machine, I see, but cant gain access to it. I can see the folders:

It is shared on the network already. I have no prob accessing it from a windows machine.

Ironically, I cant even see either of the Linux boxes on the network with the XP box??

Is there something Im doing wrong?
