Networking


how hard is it to use a Network that is set up for a windows computer, can i just take a cat 5 cable and plug it into a router? or do i have to set up the configuration a certian way.

well i assume DHCP is enabled and thats how you get your IP and if so then yes
it "should" be just as simplistic .. plug it in and you have internet ...

kk.. i thought i would check, i dont feel like taking the half hour to reinstall linux because i messed something up.
