Networked Display in Mplayer

Mplayer lists a " -display " option which i believe redirects the X output onto another X server.

Basically i have a old pentium1 laptop and (slightly faster) pentium4 desktop, what i would like to be able to do is run mplayer on the p4 but put the -display to the laptops X server so the output is on the laptop but being decoded on the p4.

Has ne one tried this before as i get access denied errors to the laptops X server, so allowing access would be the first step, unforts i have no idea how to do that!!!!

Code:
mplayer -display 10.0.0.5:0 blah.avi
     v v v v v
Xlib: connection to "10.0.0.5:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
vo: couldn't open the X11 display (10.0.0.5:0)!

Try :0.0 ... and make sure that the pentium allows
other hosts to connect ... xhost +<name of P4>

But really ... what's the point if the sound doesn't
come along? :)

/me has a feeling of deja-vu

Cheers,
Tink

thx Tinkster,

that did it, the reasoning behind it is that wanted to be able to watch films on my laptop screen whilst doing work on my main one, ok a rather extreme way of getting dual screens!

however the p1 doesn't have a dvd drive or is even close to being fast enough to decode video codex, however if i get the p4 to do the grunt work then just bring up the display on the other xserver it kinda works, although i had to do a "-framedrop -double" to get the picture and audio to run smoothly.
