Network management software recommendations

I am looking for some recommendations on network management software minus Network Manager and Wicd as I am already familiar with those two. There was one I had tried in Linux Mint last year but I don't remember the name of it. It had a tray icon similar to Network Manager's except it was blue rather than green.

You could try wpa_gui. It's pretty cool. Also, there is netcfg. But that is a CLI tool. It's simple enough, but only if you are comfortable with using the Terminal a bit.
