network/internet help

I had a small problem with my nic card after installing suse9.0.I got all that cleared up.New nic is in and kinda working.The problem is this.The Router sees linux PC but linux doesn't see the router or the internet.I am a newbie.Just hope to get some tech talk to get me started going the right way.

Sounds like you need to go into YaSt to configure your network device.
Also try to reset your router and/or DSL/Cable modem.
