I installed Netscape no problem on Debian. Well almost no problem. The install went just fine. I created my own shortcut to Netscape on the desktop '/usr/local/netscape/netscape'
When I run that command through a console, netscape pops up just like it's supposed to (no errors or anything)...however, if i click the icon on the desktop, netscape does come up, however the little bouncy icon next to the cursor (i.e. when KDE is loading a program) never goes away...anyone know why this could be happening?
Also, how do i make it so that all i would have to do is type 'netscape' into the console rather than the full path..with mozilla all i do is type mozilla and it pops up...do i create a link? cp -l? i forget? or alias or something? or am i way off? thanks
p.s. i am using kde 3.2.3
