Net:SSLeay and Redhat 8

I am trying to install Net:SSLeay on my Redhat 8.0 machine and no luck. I want to get SSL encryption for my Webmin backend, but the Net:SSLeay perl module will not install. Here is what's happening...

Code:
Executing gunzip -c /tmp/.webmin/Net_SSLeay.pm-1.21.tar.gz | tar xvf - ..

openssl-0.9.6d and earlier versions have security flaws, see advisory at www.openssl.org, upgrading

You have OpenSSL-0.9.6b installed in /usr
Good. Both OpenSSL and perl seem to have been compiled with the same compiler.

Compiler is gcc and -fpic supplied. Tweaking it to -fPIC at Makefile.PL line 177.
