Net Send in Linux????


hi,
I am connected to lan and i want to send net sends to my friends who use windows. I am unable to do it . I have Mandrake 10 on my comp. Can somebody help me out.....??

I believe the command is "wall" - do man wall to find out the usage.

If you have samba:

smbclient -M <host>

I just sent a message to my windows box with that, like this:

smbclient -M hydra
hello (control-d)

thnx! i could send messages using smbclient... but how do I receive them from others? Pl reply for both win and linux systems .
