I am trying to install nessus with lvs-dr. I have actually and when i run nessus I and start the scan I get no results. I am confused on what target field should have in terms of the ip address. Should it have the localhost or the my.domain.com? because when I use localhost it runs fine but when i use my.domain.com it returns with


"E002- These hosts could not be tested because you are not allowed to do so: my.domain.com" followed with nessusd returned an empty report.

I don't understand this, if anyone can clarify why this is happening I would be

You can restrict users to scan only specific networks, check your nessusd.users .
