Welcome to LQ!

What exactly are you trying to achieve? How have you installed nessus?

May I suggest that you upgrade to a more recent distro. RH9 is ancient history now - the successor to RH9 is Fedora, the latest version is 5. I would imagine that nessus will be in the repositories for Fedora, which means that you can install it using "yum install nessus" as root.
