Nerolinux doesn't burn

I'm using Nerolinux but the only thing that works is erasing a CDRW.
If I want to burn a new CD-R, everything works well, but the writer just does not start burning (nerolinux doesnt give any warning)

I tried my burner in K3B and there it works fine, so there is nothing wrong with it

Does anybody knows how to fix this?

its just a guess , may be you selected the option simulate or something similar ??

or you could check nero's log file to see if there is anything wrong

Have you checked permissions? Try running NeroLinux as root and see if that works. I had a similar problem with k3b under mandrake.

There is nothing wrong with the cd or writer (k3b burns on the same cd very well)
