Needing help to install Wine on SUSE LINUX
 
Im need help to install Wine.. the file im trying to open reads like this wine-20040813-mdk.i586.rpm when i click on it it says open file with, and then i need to choose what to open it with.. Thats where i get stuck. :( does any one know what i can do to get this file to work?? plz help.. :newbie:

instead of a mandrake rpm you should be able to find a suse rpm perfect for your SuSE version ... somewhere on sourceforge maybe ... there are links on winehq somewhere .. .

Open with YAST in order for SuSE to install the package ... or "rpm -i" if my memory serves me right .. :-)

Thanks for the help, but i tried to use the yast program, and the only thing i can figure out what to do with YAST is update.. I was wondering if you could help me on how to use it? :) im still trying to learn SUSE. :) i like it so far. :newbie:
