Please write clearly..your question is difficult to follow. What are you trying to do??

We can 'suggest you' virtual machines, such as VMware or Xen, but not sure how either of those fit with Mandriva and windows XP. And what kind of machine is it (not the processor, is it an HP? Dell???)

Please clearly define what you're trying to accomplish.

What "I" believe you are asking for is a virtual machine which runs on a Windows XP host that will allow you to install a Mandriva Linux guest. Try VirtualBox. Download the one for Windows Hosts (x86).
