need username/password verifyer
I need a way to verify a username/password combo from the command line so that I can call it from say a bash script, though I am not necessarily asking this for programming purposes
What I would really like is something liek this:
echo "username password" | theprogram
and have it return yes or no, or some other easily recognisable thing such as error code.
anyway I looke dinto checkpassword, it requires to much manipulation to just pass it the username and passwordm, way to complex for my purposes.
