need to reinstall gnome desktop redhat9
 

Hello,

I have screwed up the file associations in my Gnome desktop. Things like “start here” and “trash” are associated with Netscape and can not open.

In addition I have been playing with VNC and deleted and renamed files; .Xclient is one file I deleted.

I would like to totally reinstall Gnome and start over with a new profile (similar to an MS windows profile.) How can I reinstall Gnome without reformatting my machine and starting over?
